Eurora, there is something about the pic with is driving through the frozen trees that I love. It gets even better in the other pic when we see the -28 degrees on the display and the radio displaying that "it's a cold day in hell." LOL

I went to my house today (130 miles north of college), but the car is covered in snow, hasn't been driven for a month or two, sitting outside. I figured I won't insult everyone with what a poor state the Aurora seems to be in

seeing so many beautifully maintained cars here made me think that would be better not to post, thanks to all. Eurora, there is something about the pic with is driving through the frozen trees that I love. It gets even better in the other pic when we see the -28 degrees on the display and the radio displaying that "it's a cold day in hell." LOL well, it was intentional , -24 was just "cool #9" This is the best picture EVER of an Aurora. have a high res version? I'd like to set it as my desktop if you do. thanks, yes I do, as most of my pics - 2048x1536 . it would be a pleasure to send it to you. which way you'd prefer it - by e-mail or I put it to my website to download, I can make an extra gallery about them so you can like some other more? Edit: set up wallpapers folder on my web page "EURORA", if you (or anyone) else like anything here, I can send high resolution picture via e-mail or put it in temporary folder on site.

Nice! Those stock chromies look great, although I'm sure you're anxious to get those aftermarket booties back on when the snow melts. Is that a 2000 SSEi that your roommate has?

LOL Andrew (Harofreek00) is the new owner of the 3rd fastest streetable SSEi. The engine blew on his way home from the seller in Kentucky, and he's just replaced the tranny, after the aftermarket ZZP engine failed. He rebuilt it. 2 engines 3 trannies....damn fast SSEi though.
Its a very serious Bonneville. 3.2 MPS, PCM, FWI, cammed? maybe...Zimmer can clarify.

Is that lake effect or is that white stuff heading my way? What exhaust have you got, Genopsyde?

Post by Genopsyde on Feb 9, 2006 20:26:48 GMT -6
probably lake effect, exhaust is 2.25 all the way back into 2 summit performance mufflers, ugly tips that hang too low, and a magnaflow cat.

I found more recent photos, as if anyone cared. I think this one was when I was finishing up the water pump. Notice the Corona bottle. I don't recall why the hood of my wife's car is up. I probably was stealing parts from her car to put on mine and got caught so I had to put them back.

Wacko: Howcome your jackstands are several feet away and you've got that tiny, 500 lb jack holding your car up!? Shop safety is Job 1, you know...

I like that you don't question the alcohol An alcoholic beverage or two (read in extreme moderation) is often the only way to tackle PITA jobs like replacing the waterpump without going insane

I actually have two floor jacks and two sets of jack stands. The newer ones are in use under the car. The ones you see are like circa 1970 stamped steel and are not too stable. The beer was opened when I was nearly finished. I think, all was left was to reassemble the air box and test drive the car (the next day of course). It was a light beer, so...
