This is the first time I've posted anything on the internet with my Blackberry Curve, just for the record. Feel special. ;D
I'm pretty busy getting ready for the meet myself, I can't wait. Hopefully Lionvista can make it, it would be cool to see him again.

I sent him the address, no worries. Bring your walkie talkies if you have them! I'm bringing mine. Be sure to get Randy's cell number if you haven't already. Shoot me a PM if you want mine as well.

changed oil today 10w-30 syntec, replaced cam shaft position sensor and FPR, topped off transmission it was over a quart low which i think may have set off the transmission fluid pressure control switch DTC and somehow my check engine light went off no reason for it to go off as codes weren't cleared or anything & added some cam2 to the tank. Randy probably doesn't have any minutes lol he didn't the other day.

If people get lost then it's better to have some number than no number at all!

I just got out of class. I'm going to run home, grab my tent and stuff, and I'll be on the way. See you guys soon!
**edit** I'm leaving my mom's now, should be there in 3.5 hours plus the time it takes me to wash all the highway grime off the car.

just got back. meet was absolute blast, bunch of ya missed out but we still represented with only 3 Auroras. special thanks goes out to Randy T & Lydia for hosting, Jason for filming & music. xjsman98 & aura1 for laughs & help. we just camped out in the field.
we took loads of pictures & videos, i know a few hundred won't be shown lol. good news guys. the aurora chamber of commerce rep. miss shannon whom randy & i both spoke with previous, took our pics in the car show in line up and said it would be in the aurora newspaper. she also made it clear that it would be in because they thought it was too cool the we drive classic auroras & its the annual aurora classic car show. get it...anyways, their trying to get as many cars as possible of course, since it's city revenue.
i told her we were expecting 6 - 12 cars before. this was the 25th i believe. they have it every year, first weekend of october. this means it officially an ACNA event now and we're gonna be cashing in those rain checks! the track was fun but we were so rushed to get in 3 runs each since we got there so late. none of us did anything like unplug the MAP, or plug in IAT resistors. i'm outta here to take a shower. randy, zach & collins should be posting soon. but i believe jaysin is computer less.

WOW I'm here in kansas at XJSmans. The meet this weekend was a blast! I will be posting a new thread in the showroom with my pics from the event. (unless randy beat me to it) it was great meeting lance, randy, collins, randy's wife and beautiful little girl. The track was a rush as lance said, so getting our perfect times was a bit challenging. For all of us our first runs were our worst..but I do have good news, I beat a 300c SRT8 for about 2 ft!! We have plenty of videos, which I believe lance is in charge of perfecting. So look forward too those pics!

Like both Lance and Zach mentioned, we only rolled with three Auroras at this meet. (Randy's brother Jaysin was busy most of the day Saturday and couldn't come with his Aurora except at night. He took the track videos, though.) Next year we'll be going to the track much earlier and hopefully getting a lot more runs in. The car show was a blast too. My favorite part by far was the drive down Route 66 and all of the pictures that came of it. We have to get a decent video camera setup going for next year for sure but I'm not disappointed with the meet at all. Here's the Showroom thread with all of our pictures. If anyone wants full-res versions let me know. A big thanks to Randy and Lydia for hosting the meet again this year. Their place is truly Aurora Heaven, there are parts everywhere. ;D It was even more fun the second time, I'm already counting down to next year.
