Yep, I live off of eggs. No one needs to custom tailor anything to me though. I just want to know what to expect. ;D just wondered; although it's not a must...I do like them in my potato salad Fish with extra pickles would be awesome for me I forgot how much you love tuna fish but I didn't know you liked pickles on it ;D We need to know if anyone has a grill to bring/buy before we get too specific on what uncooked food will be arriving. I thought I had mentioned it before, I am pretty sure we have a portable smokey joe...I'll have the capt check

I figured it would be better to have a grill planned to actually arrive, then have everyone show up on meet day and wonder where the food is. FWIW I have 2 bags of charcoal and lighter fluid I can bring.

We wouldn't want to hear about a Hazmat fire on I-39.

LOL, thanks I'll keep that in mind. My RV already has a nearly-full 30 (maybe 40?) gallon propane tank... there are also 2 fire extinguishers on board! Some lighter fluid in the Aurora ought to be all right.

They might think you're a terrorist or soemthing with all of that explosive material

Anyone who has 2-way radios, Bring them. I will have mine on to channel 15 that day. If any one is having trouble finding their way to the meet just holler, mine are goodfor 12-15 miles. We also can use them during a cruise in case someone gets lost.

I'll dig out my little Smokey Joe too... I might have some charcoal but it sounds like Scotty might have enough to cover if I don't have any. I just need to get there early enough.
Sounds like we need a running list of who's bringing what. I'll bring my camera for sure ;D

Yeah I say proceed with a cheap grill. Grilling just kind of goes with summer outings. It's basically a must-do. So, we can all just meet up and pitch in and make a run to get the grill once we're there. Would that be alright with everyone? So, everyone bring a couple bucks to throw down on a grill, bring your own meat/grill-items. Zach's got drinks I've got at least 2 sides. ON's got the reservation Kay's got blueberry surprise Zach's got drinks I've got at least 2 sides. ON's got the reservation Kay's got blueberry surprise Rusty & Scotty have charcoal Kay and Rusty have smokey joes We'll get the grill when we get there Is that all right?

No I meant metts. They're a local product made by Bluegrass Quality Meats. Kind of like a brat, can buy them mild or hot.

So it looks like I won't make it to the meet, guys. I really want to but the recent $1,300 repair has left me with no extra cash to come. I need to work as much as I can b/c I need spending money for next year, especially now that I have no cash left. If anything changes then I'll be sure to let everyone know but I think I'll have to sit out until next year. Sorry everyone!

Check this thread for details. The short story is that my A/C compressor shaft broke and I have to replace the whole thing which has left me penniless. You guys will have to take lots of pictures, though!

I'm guessing summertime in Kansas would NOT be fun without A/C.

I thought about the A/C delete but it's an Aurora... I couldn't let her be without cold air. I hate it when she's broken, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Besides if I didn't replace the compressor now then it would be a couple years before I would be able to do it.
I'm still unsure if I made the right decision but what's done is done. I really wish I could make it but it just isn't going to happen this year. I'm going to plan ahead for next year though... maybe since we've been in Aurora for the past couple years we could move it down to Springfield for a change? Just a thought.
