I've been looking through the forums and seen a few instances of people using Chrysler take-off wheels. It seems like these wheels have a 5x115 bolt pattern compared to 5x114.3 on the Aurora. Is this an issue?

you got your numbers mixed.
The Chrysler's are 5x4.5 (114.3) The Aurora's are 5x115

Right, however Chrysler has adopted the 5x115 pattern with the newer LX models (Charger, 300)

Looks like you are correct, I found the Aurora bolt pattern listed as 5x115. The wheels on that red aurora appear to be the 18's from a 300C. I've found the 17" version of those wheels with almost new tires (take offs?) for $500ish shipped, seems like a steal when tires alone cost nearly that much.

Would wheels from a 94 LHS work on the Aurora? I have an LHS with a shot motor and brand new tires, and an Aurora with a new engine and shot tires.

The 94 LHS has wheels with a bolt pattern of 5x114.3, which means they will not work on the Aurora. The tires are 225/60/16, almost identical to the 235/60 of the Aurora. Just have the LHS tires mounted and balanced on your Aurora wheels.

5x114.3 technically can 'work.' There some stories of them causing catastrophic wheel stud failure on some Caddies, but for every one bad story, there's 10 positive. The thing is you have to look and see if they're 'hub centric' meaning that have a notch on the very center of the wheel to mount on the little nub on the wheel hub.

the ford bolt pattern 114.3 is close enough to work, I have had 20" torque thrust' rims for a mustang on my classic all summer now and have had no problems with them

the only problem with SRT8 wheels is the "SRT8" etched in one of the spokes on each wheel, i dont know if they are all like this but my car audio guy has a SRT8 magnum and the logo is the on the wheel

Awesome thanks Todd.
dcm, yea, that was one problem. Doubt too many would pick up on that though, probably figuring that was a wheel manufacter or something lol.

So do I, Speed. But after much research and measuring, the SRT line of wheels won't fit. They are 25.4mm offset, we need atleast a 40mm offset to keep them reasonably in the wheel wells. @ 25.4, they will stick out around 10mm past the fenders. Not a good look, IMHO.

It really looks cool. But If the ouside edge of the wheel can meet the fenders then I'd be happy. If they Stuck out a Little that wouldn't be to hateful. Tire size would also matter. You might be able to run a 235/40/20 or a 245/30(?)/20 and it would be okay.
10mm is about a fourth of an inch so thats not bad at all.

10mm is 1cm, which is about half an inch. 2.54 cm per 1 inch. A bit too much, imho.. 255/35-20 is about your best option, since they are 8.5" wide rims.

Not feeling that great, so I didn't spend more than a couple minutes on it. With work it would look more realistic. But I think its good enough for a visual.. Hopefully Oldsnut doesn't mind, I borrowed his pic..

Hopefully Oldsnut doesn't mind, I borrowed his pic.. Those look awesome on a 2d gen, go for it.....However, the offset puts you right at the edge of the fenderwell opening so I recommend you use 225 width tires to avoid rubbing. My 235/50-18s rub when I am turning slowly and crossing a hump like going into a parking lot. I must be in a turn to get the car to list to one side. Straight on is fine. I am working the issue now with a secret fix. If it works I will let you know.
