Thanks, Gina. I know there are some NJ/PA/NY/DE members I've surely missed or not found. Hopefully with a little "spread the word" campaign like this we can get a really nice turnout. I even PM'd Marc (just north of NYC) since I thought he was within driving distance but he has other things to do.

I'm trying to think of something interesting to bring to share. My wife makes good nachos (meat, beans, peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole etc etc etc) that I may be able to talk her into making. If not I'll think of something else. Any suggestions?

What do you want? cookies? blueberry surprise? ;D How 'bout blueberry surprise, Kay! We are having the NJ-area meet this weekend and someone is already baking cookies and brownies butyour contribution would be most welcome! ;D I'm just teasing you, Kay, since you always ask everyone for pics. Thought I'd let you know you browbeat me into submission! ;D ^^ grabbed this from another thread but I really think you should make your own treat to bring. Why do men always have to rely on their wives! If it will help, I will give you the recipe for blueberry surprise ;D ;D ;D btw, do I really need to say this....WE WANT PIX ;D ;D

... I really think you should make your own treat to bring. Why do men always have to rely on their wives! If it will help, I will give you the recipe for blueberry surprise ;D ;D ;D Because, Kay, my wife makes great nachos. If I were to do it she'd still be there to "supervise" so I might as well just let her do it. Otherwise, I am trying to think of what I can make using my own two hands. On that note I've got a bag of wild blueberries in the freezer that I picked over the summer, so I might pm you for that recipe ...

Then again, your car is far from "finished" so that might send the wrong message. Perhaps a garland or trophy that says "100,000 miles and Barely Broken In" :-)

so are we meeting at 11 or 12? 11 is better for me since i am a "morning person" and will be anxious to get on the road, LOL.....i am going to be spending the better part of Saturday cleaning and polishing my Aurora, the only thing i am not doing is the engine compartment which isn't horrible, but is far from spotless....so do we still have 4 people coming???

I thought we settled on 11. My goal is to get there well before 11 and stake out an area of the parking lot. I may be a bit late though but I've been planning on 11.

Well guys I made it home took about 1.5 hours since there was no traffic. I had a great time and it was great meeting everyone and their family as well as seeing all those shiny Auroras. You guys all obviously take great pride in your Oldsmobile Auroras and it shows. Will be posting pic shortly.

Like everyone said above, It was a nice day and great to meet other enthusiastic members. Gina, sorry you got lost on the way home. I saw you make a wrong turn out of the park but forgot I had your number so couldn't correct you. Glad you found your way home. I ended up following Pete part way back since we came from the same direction. It is neat seeing these cars drive and having two 2nd gens in a row got some looks from others drivers. Next time we should do a little cruise somewhere. Chris, thanks for making the trek as I'm sure driving that BMW is such a chore! ;D And special thanks to kaykirk for her "cameo appearance" I'll post pics tomorrow when I figure out where my wife put the camera.

Sh might have been following me out of the park and I was following my BMW's navigation and it got me where I needed to go. Must have been the long way I guess lol. Gina I am glad you car temperature stayed within normal ranges going home. I am still curious about those service engine messages on the DIC???
