One of these days after the new year, a thread actually discussing THAT meet in 2009 will be started. P.S. Whoever does that, please make it a new thread and don't add on here. We'll never recruit new people with 5+ pages of introductory drivel.

ehhhhh christmas will be a good time to use it, I tihnk were going to iowa for family crap, not in the rora though we get a nice lil rental car. Last year we had an ungodly toyota camry XLE or XLR and the GPS system on that car actually got us lost. This year im pushing the rents to rent an impalla or maybe even a new taurus. BUT WE WILL HAVE MNY NEW GPS THINGY

im curious when's the next meet in the spring and where? if its anywheres remotely close (less then a day driving) I may end up taking a trip in the aurora and show all you classics what a REAL aurora is....I mean it says it right on my front windshield The meet will be in June and you would be more than welcome to come to our meet in Aurora (where else ;D) Illinois! In fact, bring out all the north and east coast ACNA peeps with you, kinda like a caravan ;D So I drug your post over here and I thought I would upload a pic of a map but I couldn't get it to load Anyway, according to google maps (Thanks Scotty ) It is about 1 day and 0 hours and 2407 km btw, we have friendly meets not competitions here so you will have to keep that REAL Aurora of yours in check ;D

^ Why don't we just offer up a National meet and be done with it. I would love nothing more than having to look for a spot to hold 40 cars.
If planned far enough in advance it can happen. Now that's a party

hahahaha its always friendly but doubt id be able to keep it in check . hmm june eh.....I really wanna go but many factors come into play on this and its gas along with $$$$$$ and the trip ive got planned at the second week of july. will see as time comes but as for getting others to go I can't help their wallets to make them wanna go and id try and stay in canada as you guys have way to many toll bridges and that cost more money too lol almost be worth for me to get a toll-pass if I did.

what would be the best spot for everyone to meet up at is the question, we could take a poll and see wheres the middle for everyone and meet up there.
Im willing to attempt to make the trip a well in advance notice means I put $40 aside every pay towards this to make it possible

If we want to turn this into a National Meet we need to know very soon so we can get a group to get this thing rolling.

When we're done driveling here and the new thread is started with the ACTUAL meet plans in 2009, I'll probably move this to Water Cooler so as not to confuse people who actually want to know about the upcoming meet.

Somewhere Central between Massachusetts, and Illinois!!! ;D ;D A national Aurora meet is a fantastic Idea I'd be glad to travel some but we had the largest group for a meet last year. And, many from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan were talking about joining us last year. 6 of us made it and the rest were kicking themselves in the butt for not coming . We know how to do a meet here and want you all to come.......to Aurora, Illinois! hey rvrrat, how'd you get to be an "Aurora Extremist" since May? Are you really a girl ;D you know how girls like to chat

HAHA you guys are horrible. I'm all for a national meet, just as long as we can still meet in aurora, or maybe even in iowa, But I'd like to stay a little close to home just in case something happens to the rora or a family member.

I do that everytime I get in My Dads Ford Focus, I hate it, Actually the Fiero has a very small dashboard, so its not that tight inside

I as well think Aurora Illinois is the place for it!, i probably won't be able to afford to bring the Aurora out there, possibly the Fiero, but not my Aurora.
Eventually I'll bring my Aurora out there. :-)

I'm down to go. It'll take a couple tanks round trip... I just have to decide if you guys are worth 120 bucks! ;D
OK The real reason is that I'm not comfortable driving the entire way by myself, in case something goes wrong. I won't be able to make it unless Randy or Lance (preferably both ;D) can make the trek with me. We'll probably meet up in St. Louis, MO and then go the rest of the way from there. 9 hours total for me, 7 for them. 1126 miles total... I must really like you guys!
