2002 aurora.
I have had water issues since day one.. First it was in the trunk, then it was stuck in the trunk lid, then it was near the battery..
Now its on the floorboard on the drivers side. The ONLY place that is wet is the floorboard, nothing in the trunk or anywhere else.
Where should i check?
EDIT: Not the sunroof either, had a clog up there about a year ago, but i fixed it. The leak is primarily in the rear, water only seems to get to the front because it seeps through the carpet.

You are probably correct...
I had to replace the window motor on the drivers door. And when i took the door apart i don't even remember seeing any plastic sheet. I also had to replace the window motor in the rear driver side door.. and when i took that one off there was a plastic sheet. I made sure i cleaned off the old glue and reattached it with silicon. Didnt even occur to me that the front door was supposed to have that plastic liner...
Edit: Just wanted to clarify. In your situation, the front door had a leak, but the rear was more wet? Because that is the situation i am seeing as well.

Actually I had to do both front and rear doors on the passenger side for the same issue.

I'm going to try and bring this back to life... Still struggling with water issues. Only the drivers side is wet.
What i have done: Removed headliner, checked all hose connections for sunroof, all good. poured water down each individual drain hole, and definitely not clogged. Checked the sunroof connections in the trunk as well, those are nice and tight. I know its not the heater core, because its only on the drivers side.
Took off the door panels, removed all of the old black sealant stuff on the plastic sheets and the doors. Liberally reapplied new silicone sealant. Even taped the sheets to the doors to hold the sheets in place while the silicone dried. If i pour water on the windows with the doors open i get no internal leakage.
I have noticed that my lower windshield seal is dry rotted, will a leak there work its way into the cabin? And i have been told to check something underneath the dash on the drivers side, but im really not sure what im looking for.
I have tried to fix this plenty of times, no luck. Im sick of removing the drivers seat and vacuming out water. And all the condensation has my headliner falling off, so now i have to fix that as well. Can anyone possibly tell me anything i havent already heard. I love the car, but i swear its going to scrap if i cant get this leak taken care of, haha.
Thanks guys

I know I'm really late but this problem sounds like the sunroof drain(s) are clogged. I'm experiencing this as I speak. 1996 1st Gen
Oh my bad just read that you poured water down the drains.
