Hey guys,
Had the check engine codes looked at the other day, and the guy tells me I got a code for sensor 1, bank 2 just can't find it online or a repair manual without coming DEEP out of pocket.
Anyone dealt with this as of yet?

Bank 2 Sensor 1 is on the driver's side of the front exhaust manifold. Easier access from underneath, need to remove the plastic splashguard to see it. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is on the rear exhaust and is a real PITA to change.

Correct, Bank 1 Sensor 1 is on the rear manifold. FSM says to drop the rear subframe 3 inches by removing 4 bolts IIRC. I changed the front manifold and post cat oxygen sensor no problem. Still trying to figure out the rear manifold without dropping the subframe. Easiest way maybe to do it when I replace rear valve cover gasket.
Good luck!

Classic FSM says the same thing about bank 1 sensor 1. I laughed. I changed mine from the top. Moved coil packs out of the way. used two extensions and breaker bar with an oxygen sensor socket. Twenty minutes and done. Not sure what's if anything is in the way from doing it from the top on the 2G.

You can get to B1 S1 from the top. Tried to do mine a couple of weeks ago. I was able to reach it but couldn't get it loose. Ended up taking it to a dealer and they had a PITA time with it too. Suggest spraying something like WD40 or Kroil around the base of the sensor and let it soak before wrenching on it. Mine was seized up pretty bad.

lol yeah. Hence the breaker bar. It wasn't too bad for me though.
Drop the subframe though... ahh. I was just thinking... really?
