I wrote in this thread that I had a bad experience with Autozone customer service. I figured that maybe it was a one time thing. I was wrong!!!!! VERY wrong!!!! My 2G needed hood struts recently. I ordered them from Autozone. I said online in plain English that the struts were for a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 4.0. But they still managed to send me the wrong struts!!!!!! They didn't fit the mounts. The mounting sockets were too small for the bottom mounts on the fenders. Luckily, I was able to return them at the Autozone in Stamford, CT. That shop then got me the correct struts overnight. Lesson learned, the hard way: NEVER EVER NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM AUTOZONE ONLINE!
