Just for reference the P0420 can be solved by simply using spark plug non-fouler or they sell "02 spacers" now as well.
But hey man, jealous of your project. Look at me playing with power wheels! hahaha. I would love to build up a 4.6L to have on standby.

Lol, yeah I know about the non fouler, the tuned computer will take care of that problem when I install it. Here is an 8 second 0-60, I lost traction so it delayed me, road was dry and looked ok, but could not hook up, you can at least hear how it sounds. It took me a while to get used to the extra torque steer, but I am learning to hold on better, I also have to hold the brakes more when I am sitting in drive, still proper rpms. I started off in 1st gear and let it shift itself, starting off in 2nd also creates a harder shift if you like that sort of thing. I wonder why mine shifts at 6000, I have heard people say they go up to 6500. How do I do that? Maybe my power button is broken? www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDYVxs3IJCE

Terrible quality, but here is my old Vin9 DTS hitting 6700 rpm. People may claim to get to 6500 rpm in the Aurora, but in all three that I have had, it will NEVER surpass redline. Putting it in first will realllllyyyy firm up your shifts. It will hold gear till right at redline. DTS: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjZrnZCpHpcAurora: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR6zPSMeJfA

Haha that DTS was completely stock. Wonderful car. I have a video somewhere around here of 60-120 in that car on a closed course. In fact it's on youtube somewhere. Just a giant turd as far as mechanicals go. But oh that noise! Randy, you need to coerce your 4.6 to sing!

Once Randy gets that tune in from Madtuner, I expect his to pull harder. The lighter weight of the Aurora should really allow that 4.6 to shine.

Your Cadillac does sound sweet! I would need a little bit bigger exhaust to make mine sound like that, it has been in the back of my mind to find a newer Cadillac exhaust.
No complaints on the way it pulls, it really snaps your head back when you punch it, only problem is traction. I will be switching computers soon, probably about another week of the stock Autobahn. been looking at some tires, too, these 245/50r16 Goodyears are ok, but they spin a little too easy.
I took it on a 60 mile trip the other day, it did good the whole time, never went above 205, and it only when up to that after I had it turned off a few minutes, they heat up a little when you shut them off.

Still running great! I installed some new tires on the front, ready for the drag strip on Oct. 3, going to try to get my injector set on before then because I never got around to installing them.

Bump for the newbies.
Now at 238,000 miles.
Newer injectors are nice and look nicer than the bulky stock injectors, fuel pump is going out, has been for a while, warm weather is back so can finally do some things.
I quit running the madtuner PCM, part of the deal was I was supposed to write him a review, and I regret that I did not follow through with the deal, but the first tune would not work, the second tune does not seem right, something messes with the shifting and makes the car run weird. In all honesty I can not blame madtuner and I am not trying to bash anyone, it is possible that there is something wrong with my trans, but Aurora does work fine with the stock PCM.

Flex plate has been cracked for about 10,000 miles, up to around 248,500, running better than ever, flex plate has not broken yet.

Well, I got about another pedal to the metal 8000 miles out of it, it was raining a ton and I was out 4 wheeling drove thru a tiny river and my engine would not displace all the water which bent my number 1 rod, that was my 1/8 favorite rod. So Aurora number 1 is going to eat Aurora number 13 so it can survive, then I will fix 14. I'm pulling out the top this time, don't know why I didn't do it this way a long time ago. Only issue I see, besides time lol, is how to unbolt the flexplate with it locked up, I am hoping my flex plate is cracked enough it breaks apart when I lift the engine out. If I can't get it to break apart, I will have to replace trans too.
