Well, I have one sitting in the garage, still can't believe the deal, this things, got coil pack and module Alt. pw steer pump water pump, AC compressor, starter, full intake,all the sensors, belt and pulleys. It does have a different output from the water pump, this one came with a sheet from Shelby America Inc. Looks like some kind of a check list but only has some bodies initials all the way down it. Half way down the first page it has one comment that say "QC CAMS ONLY" and then a signature. Have no idea what it means but thought I would share it. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get this darn car up high enough. ;D

Did you ever get a PCM that works with your Shelby 1 engine? I stuffed a Shelby 1 in my '97 Aurora but the PCM needs to be re-programed to make the car run right. I had mine checked out with the stock PCM and found that since the cam timing is different the computer is shutting the fuel delivery down 35%. I am hoping someone out there, who has made this engine swap, has found someone who can re-program a stock PCM or has found someone who sells a correctly programed replacement.

Not that you will read this one. Madtuner is the way to go. If you are wondering why I brought up this old thread, it's because it was highlighted, for some reason, by the performance post count.
